Newsletter issue number 9 - Term 4 - 25th February 2022

Dear Parent/Carers,

We have quite a few wonderful topic weeks coming up this term, starting with next week. It is a 'Book Week', celebrating our favourite bedtime stories. It is also World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March, when we are wearing our pyjamas to school. Don't forget to bring your favourite Bedtime Story book to school on Monday 28th February - all part of our activities this coming week for the joys of reading and how important it is to us all.

We will also be taking part in Red Nose Day early on Tuesday 8th March, letter for this will be coming home on Monday with further details.

We are also going to be focussing on mental health and well-being, and science - we really do have a very busy term!

We also have Parents Evenings due this term - again, emails and letters will come out to you in due course. All dates are on the school calendar.

Talking Mental Health

We will be holding a special week, Monday 7th - Friday 11th March, dedicated to mental health and wellbeing. The theme is ‘Talking Mental Health,’ and the aim is to initiate a whole school conversation about what mental health is and the importance of talking about it.

Bring your bedtime story book to school

Monday 28th February We are asking that all the children bring to school their favourite bedtime story book. This is all part of celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March. Please write your child's name in their book to ensure that the book comes back home safely.

Dance Workshop

Tuesday 8th March Reception to Year 2 will all be taking part throughout the school day in a Dance workshop. The theme for the workshop will be 'Growing'. This will be a fun activity for all the children to be involved in.
