As a school we use to apps.

• School News App: This provides you with information on term dates, events taking place in school and various other forms of information.
• Paretmail App: This relates to booking and paying for dinners & breakfast clubs, school trips and other activities that require payments,

School News App

How the app Works

Firstly, you will need to download the app from either the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store by clicking on the relevant buttons below or by loading up the app store on your phone and searching for ‘School News’.

Once you have located and downloaded the free app, launch the app and you will then be able to either click on the ‘Find my school’ button which uses the phones GPS to locate all the schools in the surrounding 20 miles, or you can type in the school's postcode and click on ‘Get my school’ button.

Your school's postcode is:  ME4 5UP

You will then see a list of schools that use the app. Click on the school you wish to view news & events for.

You will then be able to click on the ‘News’ button to view all of the latest news items that have been added to the school(s) you have selected and also all of the upcoming calendar events by clicking on the ‘Events’ button.

Clicking on ‘My Schools’ will display a list of schools that you view news and events for. Clicking on one of the schools will display the school address, telephone number and email address which you can click on to either phone or email the school directly from the app.

 

Parentmail App

Firstly, you will need to download the app from either the iTunes App Store or Google Play Store by clicking on the relevant buttons below or by loading up the app store on your phone and searching for ‘Parentmail’.

Parentmail is an online payment service which allows you to pay for school items quickly and easily on your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Registering with IRIS ParentMail is very easy! When your child starts you will be sent either an email and/or text message from IRIS ParentMail, when you receive this please just follow the instructions in the message.

If you have an Android or Apple smartphone, we would highly recommend you download the free IRIS ParentMail App so that you can make easy, online payments on the go. To do this, simply search for “ParentMail” in your App store.

We will inform you about items you need to pay through IRIS ParentMail, and you will be able to pay electronically, using credit or debit cards.

Please note, your bank statement will display either the ‘School Name’ or ‘IRISPAY’, dependant on your payment method.

It will also mean that you will be booking your child’s school dinner via the App. This will be the case for all children choosing to have a school dinner whether you pay for a meal or not, and you will also book and pay for your child’s place for Breakfast Club via the App.
