Welcome back to term 2 - one of our busiest and favourites!
We have a lot of celebrations and special days this term - charity days, support for the School Fair and of course...is it too early to mention the 'C' word? We do love to get festive at Greenvale, and this year we are still deciding how to make December Christmassey and magical.
We are glad to see so many families have been using the TTRockStars and Numbots apps during the break. Please look out for certificates coming soon.
A reminder that reading contact books need to be in school daily please- teaching staff will use these to communicate with you and make note of your child's reading targets and progress. We are also very excited to be starting our 'Reading Buddy' scheme, which sees our older pupils supporting our younger pupils by spending time reading together. Our buddies have their own special reward stamp to put into contact books when they have read with a friend.
This week we have seen Reception beginning their PE sessions in the hall - a big thank you from us all for seeing the vast majority of the school in correct PE kit on their PE days - it makes such a difference.
We look forward to another busy term!

Now that the weather is turning, please ensure that your child brings a coat to school every day, and dresses appropriately for the weather.
Thank you

As previous years, all donations are appreciated and can be made through the JustGiving link below, and our aim is to raise £180.00. No cash donations please.
The JustGiving link for Children in Need can also be found on the school website.
