The children enjoyed having a theatre company in school for the Panto. A live performance always helps to bring a story to life and engage the children.
The playground has had the all the new markings laid out this week, and the Trim Trail is finally finished. We are waiting for the Health & Safety certificate and some dry weather to then unvail the Trim Trail to the children. Both these areas will have a big impact to the children.
I hope you all have an enjoyable half-term.
Mrs Allnutt
Headteacher
Today we have said 'Goodbye' to Mrs Gilbert our Nursery Assistant.
Mrs Gilbert has decided that now is the time for her to put her feet up and take some much deserved time for herself.
Mrs Gilbert will be very much missed by the staff and children, but we wish her a happy retirement!
School Nuture Dogs
Say hello to Woody, Luna and Mabel, our school nuture dogs.
Woody & Mabel belong to Mrs Williams, our Nurture Teacher.
Luna belongs to Mrs Allnutt, the Headteacher.
All 3 dogs have either completed or are completing their nuture dog training.
Nurture dogs are specially chosen breeds that are compatible in a school environment with children.
As most of you will know. The children love seeing and spending time with the dogs, and they are an important part of the Greenvale community.
NSPCC Numbers Day
Thank you to everyone who donated to last week's fundraiser.
We raised £100.00 for the charity, which is an amazing achievement.
