Dear Parents and Carers
Firstly, a BIG welcome to all our new children and parents who have started Greenvale this term. As always, Greenvale aims to make all parents feel valued as part of our community so please look out for any up and coming events this term.
Our new Reception and Nursery children have settled really well and it is a delight to visit the classroom daily to get to know them all. Next week will see all the Reception children staying all day, another big step which I know they will cope with very well, all be it, a little tired at the end of the day!
It was also been really lovely to see our first Key Stage 2 class in year 3, finally starting this year. All of the children, including years 1 and 2, have settled into a good routine already in their classes and their behaviour has been outstanding. Well done to all the children, we are all really proud of them.
Today, our current cook Donna is leaving, and I am sure you will all wish her well in her new job. The children all said a lovely goodbye at lunch and gave her a leaving gift from us all. Our new cook will be starting Monday and having spoken to our catering company, I know that the standard will be just as good.
