Dear Parents,
As another busy term draws to an end, the staff and I would like to say a big thank you for all the fantastic support you are giving your children at home with their daily reading, spellings and homework. Your contribution towards your child's education ensures that all children are supported at home and school to gain a good understanding with their learning.
Please remember that all of the children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 have full access to Reading Eggs and Mathseeds, online games and learning support for supporting their progress.
During this term, the children have experienced the wonder and joy of a pantomime in school. The children simply loved the acting and story of Jack and the Beanstalk. It was lovely to see them having such fun!
Next term, we have book week and World Book Day to celebrate. We are also hosting a 'Bring a book to life' workshop that all the children will take part in. More details will follow about book week next term.
We will also be joining the KM charity 'Walk-Once a Week' challenge scheme, designed to get our children more active and to support a greener environment around our school site. Thursdays will be our day to count how many children walk to school...if you have to drive it can still count! Just park a street away and walk from there - we can add your child to their class count - there are prizes stickers and trophies up for grabs!
Wishing you a lovely, restful half term break.
